Daikaiju is a mysterious chimera of sound and imagery that was first sighted in the winter of 1999. Entities of sonic mayhem, Daikaiju takes the sound of waves crashing and shrieking atomic lizards and makes it rock in a way that instills shock and awe in all who experience their shows-a highly interactive and confrontational performance that literally draws the audience into the massive vortex of sound generated by the band. Concealed behind masks, this troupe of mystery people create a mutant style of epic, high energy instrumental rock that seamlessly incorporates a wide variety of musical styles including surf, punk, noise, metal, psychedelic and progressive rock.
Energy Pyramid: A 3-piece instrumental band from Bellingham, WA. All Energy flows through the Pyramid.
Mylee Francisco is the devil herself. She is our guide on this journey to hell and back and you can trust that she'll put you back where she found you, but we can't vouch for what state you'll be in when it's all over.
The Delstroyers emerged from the mists of Seattle, WA in 2016, awash in reverb and cloaked in black. Their dark, instrumental surf melodies pay homage to both the founders of the genre and the revivalists of the 1990s, all wrapped in an undying love for things that go bump in the night. In 2017 they unleashed their debut full-length record "Diabolical!" on an unsuspecting populace, and the summer of 2019 will see them team up with Hi-Tide Recordings to bring forth "Resurrected", four new tracks of spooky drip and biting fuzz.
Artemisia Solecita embodies smoldering passion as she tangles up in the ta-tum ta-tum tango rhythm in your chest.
From the deepest crypts of the underground, where screams echo longer than the silence between heartbeats, Witch Agony emerges like a curse scrawled in blood across the veil of reality. Forged in the flickering black flame of unholy ritual, this occult doom-metal coven conjures a sound soaked in sorrow, rage, and the scent of burning sage.
Led by wailing guitars that sound like tortured spirits and drums that pound like a funeral procession in Hell, Witch Agony doesn't perform music — they summon it. Their vocals shriek like banshees from the gallows, weaving tales of cursed love, rotting kingdoms, and ancient witches dancing under eclipsed moons.
Born from forgotten grave soil and baptized in graveyard fog, Witch Agony doesn’t play for fame — they play to awaken the dead. Each show is a séance. Each riff, a ritual. Each scream, a spell.
Enter their realm if you dare. But be warned: once you hear the agony, you carry it with you forever.
Mademoiselle Amelia may be new to That Devil Music's stage but she's been honing her craft in the company of Cabaret Atelier's finishing school for sexy bitchez. She loves her fans, feather and human, so just give her your undying support already.
Frigid riffs embedded into the barren hellscapes of Southern California, Woods Witch aims to be faster and slower, heavier and more emotionally gripping, than any sound before.
The best parts of black metal, the best parts of doom- fused into an abomination of forest and sand. Take the crushing weight of the Pacific Ocean and the oppressive despair of an unrelenting sun, invigorate it with freezing veins of a northern winter, and fuel it with the manic energy of skin-blistering asphalt and you have Woods Witch.
If you’re not weeping, screaming, punching, or running in a circle, then we don’t play it. See you on the road.
Kurly Somthing is a synth laden weirdo art punk band formed by songwriter Kelly Sorbel and engineer/drummer Scot Michel. What started as a studio project quickly grew into a live show featuring the duo supported by backing tracks and a vivid stage show. Fusing vocoder laden vocals, monstrous riffs and four on the flour drums Kurly Somthing has crafted four eclectic studio albums while touring constantly. Kurly Somthing finds inspiration in the end of times with songs like Shred Toxic Gnar or You'll Die and Trans Kurling Through Space, It's the way (They totally said that before Boba Fett ever uttered the phrase). On stage Kurly Somthing is a sci-fi nightmare brought to life with the use of Kelly’s comic art brought to life via wearable sculptures and fonts only The Predator could read. If Star Trek and The Toxic Avengers had a baby, it would sound like Kurly Somthing.
Emerald Fire is a veteran of That Devil Music's burlesque stage and we are proud to have them back to bring their craft to our little shop of horrors!
A forgotten disease, festering in the spirit of our time. Rhinderpest is skull fucking riffs, the sound of bone splintering and rheumatic sighs. Rites of the hidden angels, odes to Saturn.
Shpilkis is a klezmer band from Seattle, Washington, located on the unceded land of the Coast Salish Peoples and specifically the Duwamish Tribe. Since forming in 2017, we continue to transform potential into kinetic energy on dance floors at simkhas, holiday events, and block parties. We each arrive to this music from a hodgepodge of backgrounds: religious, spiritual, secular, pagan; east-coasters, midwesterners, and Pacific Northwesterners born & raised; Jews and gentiles; music-educated and self-taught, with foundations in jazz, punk, folk, classical, and pop. Some of us have had more exposure to klezmer traditions than others, and we do our best to teach each other, both playing in and breaking from tradition. Being in Seattle, we often feel in golus from the greater Yiddish diaspora of New York City and other prominent North American hubs of Yiddishkayt. As a people and community in diaspora, even though we sometimes feel isolated and far away, we know we are a part of something larger than ourselves. Because even if we're in exile, we at least have each other.
Paper La Shay has already eaten you, body and soul, you just haven't realized it yet. She is no stranger to the Saloon stage, she has danced with the devil a time or two. Take notes.
Arthur Buezo has been one of the hardest working acts in the music scene for over a decade touring Internationally since 2011. Arthur Buezo has self produced 9 albums in his original style of Savage Folk. Deep songwriting accompanied by a blend of strings & percussion forms an undefinable mix of folk, americana, psychrock, doom metal, experimental and more. Arthur's live performance is surely something to be experienced.
Kalamity is the beautiful chaos that's always hovering on the edge of your mind. She's the ring leader of this sexy little circus and she keeps us all on our toes. We literally couldn't do it without her.
Do you like crusty old string-band music? Random facts about obscure prewar musicians and vernacular music history?? Singers who sound like they have smoked 100,000,000,000,000,00 cigarettes??? If you answered “yes!” too any of these questions, Dumpster Joe & the Boys might have just the STUFF™️ for you!
Portland, OR based Dumpster Joe & Taylor “the Boys” Thomas play 1920s & 30s jazz, country blues and jugband tunes on res-o-phonic guitar and cello. On occasion they’ll have pals join them on fiddle, clarinet, saw, washboard, tub bass, cheese grater and all other manner of instruments and household appliances. You never quite know what you’ll get ‘til ya get it. One thing is for certain though: no matter what rag-tag group of musical miscreants they manage to round up, a good time is guaranteed to be had by all once they get too serenadin’ and sycopatin’!
Patricia Charms her way into every heart before you know what she's done. Watch out! She may look innocent, but she'll take that heart right out of your chest and eat it in front of you. And you won't even mind.
Lilith Grey and Father Lucien are the unholy union of the sacred and the sacreligious. She's the literal queen of hell, and he's a man of the cloth who cannot look away from the beauty of the damned.
Feastus Gustatorius, part insect, part man. It comes to you from the flowers on the side of the road, but it is a harbinger of the hive mind of Beelzebub, dark lord of flying things.
